Mary brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Ballet Director at BDC, where she has served with dedication and passion for an extended period. Graduating with Distinction from Canada’s National Ballet School's esteemed three-year Teacher Training Program in 2009, Mary holds teaching certifications from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Cecchetti Society of Canada. Additionally, she is a teaching Associate of the BATD in Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Ballet, and a certified PBT practitioner.
Drawing upon a diverse range of ballet methodologies, Mary's teaching philosophy is centered on nurturing both technical mastery and artistic expression in each dancer. Her commitment to excellence ensures that our students receive top-notch training, both in technique and artistry.
Beyond her role as Ballet Director, Mary serves as a mentor in our apprentice program, offering invaluable guidance and mentorship to our aspiring teachers. Her dedication to the development of young talent is a testament to her passion for fostering the next generation of dance educators.
