Jolenne Bradley

Known affectionately as Ms. B, Jolenne embarked on her dance journey at the age of 7, igniting a passion that would shape her career path. By the age of 16, she was determined to merge her love for dance with her entrepreneurial spirit, dedicating her studies to dance education and striving to make a positive impact within the industry.

Jolenne's educational pursuits led her to the Business and Fitness Management program at Cambrian College, where she graduated in 1995. Building upon this foundation, she went on to excel in the Cambrian College Dance Arts Educators program, earning honors in 1998. During her final year, she solidified her membership with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, specializing in Tap and Jazz and completing her training with Lesley Kallio as a ballet teacher using the Cecchetti method.

Following her studies, Jolenne ventured into teaching, with stints in Montreal and Toronto. It was in Toronto where she became involved with the Professional Arts Educators of Canada (PAEC), contributing to the development of the jazz syllabus during its early stages. However, her heart led her to pursue her dream of business ownership, prompting her to establish the Barrie Dance Conservatory, Inc. in 2003 upon relocating to Barrie.

Throughout her illustrious career, Jolenne has garnered recognition for her achievements as a business owner, entrepreneur, and mentor. Her choreography has earned numerous awards for its technical precision and artistic flair, while her students have flourished in the dance industry, securing scholarships, auditions, and professional opportunities.

In 2017, Jolenne graduated from the ADAPT Teacher Training program, receiving accolades for her outstanding essays and unwavering commitment to dance education. More recently, she has extended her expertise to the Acro Dance Teachers Association (ADTA), playing a pivotal role in establishing a robust acro program for students and teachers alike in her community.
