Alexis Burling
Alexis Burling is an emerging choreographer. She is a graduate from York University, where she achieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, in the choreography and performance stream.
Burling has studied numerous forms of dance, but her passion is contemporary dance. Burling has furthered her technique and artistry under the guidance of Hannes Langolf, Tracey Norman, Helen Jones, John Ottman, Freya Bjö rg Olafson and Julia Sasso. She grew up dancing at A2Y Dance Inc, and is now teaching/choreographing for many dance studios in the GTA.
She has also taught contemporary and jazz dance workshops at numerous high schools. One of her bigger accomplishments was putting together her first full-length show entitled '2:14 AM', which premiered at the Winchester street theatre, on February 23rd, 2019.
Alexis plans to pursue a professional career in choreography.
